Parenting an Emotionally Dysregulated Teen

DETAILS
Overview

Some teens struggle with big emotions that are difficult to control, often leading to problematic behaviors and other challenges. This struggle with emotion dysregulation can be very challenging for the entire family system, particularly when others in the home feel burned out, frustrated, and at a loss for how to help. This webinar will focus on what emotion dysregulation looks like, what contributes to it, and how parents can help. It will also touch on ways parents can self-regulate and cope through these struggles.
