Evolve Cole Ranch is located in Encinitas, a beachside community in the North County area of San Diego. With no more than six teens in treatment at a time, this residential location offers innovative, effective, evidence-based support. Our teenagers feel like they’re in a personal, individualized recovery center designed to meet their specific therapeutic needs—because that’s exactly where they are.

Evolve Cole Ranch is nestled in the peaceful, safe, and quiet residential neighborhood of Olivenhain in Encinitas, a renowned beach community in San Diego County. The area, known for its natural beauty, offers rolling hills, tidal lagoons, wetlands, and over thirty miles of beaches, some with walk-up access supporting a thriving surf culture. Inland, the region features horse ranches, canyons, rivers, and mountains, offering ample recreational trails and public parks. Encinitas is also conveniently close to both commercial areas and medical facilities. At Evolve Cole Ranch, teens live on-site in a modern, repurposed farmhouse situated on a ½ acre lot with a pool, fruit trees, outdoor dining, BBQ area, and more. This spacious 6,710 square foot home has been designed to provide a safe, comfortable environment perfect for recovery. San Diego’s mild climate supports year-round outdoor activities, making it an ideal location for adolescent recovery. The city is home to world-class attractions such as La Jolla Cove, Coronado Beach, Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve, and the San Diego Museum of Art, offering both cultural and outdoor experiences. Families can also benefit from the presence of reputable universities, ensuring access to skilled clinical professionals for comprehensive teen mental health care.

Our Clinical Approach
Evolve’s therapeutic approach is evidence-based and behavioral. In our standard clinical model, we provide psychiatry, a strong DBT skills-training component, along with other evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and others. The combination of therapeutic approaches in each treatment plan depends on the adolescent’s specific needs in treatment.

When you reach out to us, we listen. We want to understand who you are, what’s going on in your family. A compassionate and skilled Admissions Coordinator will guide you through the process and answer any questions you have about Evolve’s programs. We will also answer questions in relation to payment and insurance coverage. Evolve works with most private insurance companies on an in-network and out-of-network basis. We talk to your insurance provider and advocate for you to maximize your benefits at every level of care.

I work with your on-site clinical director and primary therapist and am here to answer any questions you may have and direct you through any barriers that may come up throughout the process.
