Evolve Danville Teen Residential Treatment Center
Just 30 miles east of San Francisco is the Town of Danville, a picturesque community repeatedly ranked safest city in California. At Evolve Danville residential treatment center, teens live on-site for an average of 30-60 days in our comfortable private home located on a gated 2.4-acre property. We offer round-the-clock support and treatment for teens struggling with depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, self-injurious behavior, ODD, psychosis or other high-acuity mental health, substance abuse, or behavioral issues.
Originally a farming community in Contra Costa County, Danville is sandwiched between the gorgeous Diablo Mountain Range to the east and the Last Trampas Ridge to the west, earning it the nickname “Heart of the San Ramon Valley.” Danville is also home to the Iron Horse Regional Trail, a beautiful biking and hiking path that was once a railroad. The 40-mile scenic route passes directly through Danville and is popular with outdoor enthusiasts. Between its natural beauty, delicious eateries, and thriving arts and culture scene, Danville generates much appeal to local residents and visitors alike.
Our teen mental health treatment center is located in an adorably quaint neighborhood in Westside Danville. The residential treatment center is far from the hustle and bustle, with beautiful views of Mount Diablo in the distance.
Residential Treatment at Evolve Danville
The residential treatment experience at Evolve Danville is unique. Our mental health treatment centers for teens are warm, comfortable, and homey, designed to put our residents at ease so they can focus on what matters: treatment. At the same time, our safety protocols are among the strongest in the country; we pride ourselves on making our teens’ safety the number-one priority. Treatment can be hard work, but we know that in the right environment, with the right people, our teens can develop practical coping skills, learn more about themselves, build enriching new relationships, and yes, have fun. Our licensed staff – who are as nurturing and accepting as they are professional and experienced – encourage personal growth and lay the foundation for sustainable, lifelong recovery. Our staff:client ratio is at least 3:1, one of the highest staff-client ratios available for a teen residential treatment center. Teens feel like they’re in a personal, individualized recovery center designed to meet their specific therapeutic needs – because that’s exactly where they are.
Personalized Treatment for Total Healing
Our teens receive solution-focused, evidence-based, results-oriented therapy.
At Evolve Danville treatment center, we learn everything we can about each of our teens before creating a customized recovery plan that serves their specific clinical needs. In addition to psychiatry, we utilize traditional approaches such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) while incorporating experiential therapies such as art, equine-assisted therapy, music, yoga, rock-climbing and more. Experiential therapies provide fun, healthy outlets for teens, expose them to new ways of expressing themselves, and help them discover what a “life worth living” looks like for them. Teens also have dedicated hours for educational and academic support so they can stay on track with schooling.
We offer a wide range of therapeutic modalities since we believe that each adolescent connects differently and that recovery can happen anywhere. Teens participate in daily group therapy on topics like Anger Management, Health & Wellness, Mind/Body Connection, DBT Skills (Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance, and Interpersonal Effectiveness), and more. Since we believe that it is vital to support the entire family when treating a teen, we offer regular family therapy in addition to the multiple individual therapy sessions a teen receives every week.
Recovery plans at Evolve Danville include the following therapeutic modalities:
- Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
- Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA)
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Mindfulness-Based Dialectical/Cognitive Therapy (MBD/CT)
- Individual Family Therapy
