Evolve Arden Oaks Clinical Approach

Treatment is tailored to each teen’s needs, with a focus on building practical skills they can carry forward. Ongoing clinical assessment allows therapists to track progress and adjust care over time, while structured therapy and daily support help teens build emotional regulation, communication skills, and healthier coping strategies. Teens also develop practical skills to stay present, manage intense emotions, cope with distress, and navigate relationships more effectively.

How We Approach Substance Use Treatment

For teens struggling with substance use or addiction, Evolve incorporates SMART Recovery, a science-based approach rooted in CBT. SMART Recovery helps teens build motivation, cope with urges, manage thoughts and emotions, and develop healthier behaviors that support lasting change. When clinically indicated, teens may also receive additional recovery coaching sessions to provide more individualized support throughout treatment.
