Evolve Puts Family First
Evolve (verb): To transform into a more complex or advanced state.
Our name is more than a catchy branding tag. It sums up who we are and what we believe. It clarifies our primary goal for every teen we meet: positive forward change.
Evolution is adaptation.
There is never change without challenge. Learning happens when we apply fresh concepts and strategies to the problems we face. Growth happens when we step outside our comfort zone and apply new strategies to old situations.
At Evolve, we create a safe, positive, productive environment where real change happens daily. Our teens feel like they’re in a private home participating in a program designed specifically for their total health and recovery, because that’s exactly where they are and that’s exactly what we provide.
The first thing families notice when they visit our residential treatment centers is that they don’t look or feel like treatment centers. They look and feel like places people live. They’re intimate, warm, and welcoming. Bedrooms look like bedrooms. Living rooms look like living rooms. Our kitchens aren’t industrial and our dining rooms aren’t cafeterias. We sit down and eat three healthy, hearty, home-cooked meals a day, family style.
Our outpatient facilities have the same feel. They’re not stale office spaces sandwiched between law firms and accounting agencies. They’re every bit as comfortable as our residential centers. We create an ambience conducive to healing and open communication.
We laugh, learn, grow, play, heal, and recover—together.
We create a home and we live like a family.
That’s what makes Evolve different.
The Evolve Therapeutic Approach
True change comes from within. Everyone grows and changes in their own way and on their own time. The same is true for recovery and healing: everyone heals, recovers, and learns to cope with complex behavioral, emotional, and addiction issues in their own way and on their own schedule. We engage the imagination and encourage teens drive their own recovery. We help families discover this simple truth: the key to recovery is the infinite wellspring of potential within.
We get to know our teens and tailor every moment of every day to meet their specific needs. We apply solution-focused, evidence-based therapeutic practices and formulate an Individualized Recovery Plan that changes as progress is made. We focus on what works, capitalize on the strengths of each person, and cultivate an authentic, compassionate, and caring atmosphere.
Individual Recovery Plans include a combination of the following treatment modalities:
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA)
- Mindfulness-Based Dialectical/Cognitive Therapy (MBD/CT)
- Solution Focused Therapy (SFT)
Structural Family Therapy
- Seated Meditation
- Walking Meditation
- Goal Setting
Mind, Body, Spirit
We work to heal the whole person and the whole family. We work to restore balance and harmony. More important than the work we do, though, are the tools we give teens to live life on their own terms. We teach them to collaborate, communicate, and understand the nuances of emotional, behavioral, and addiction disorders. We prepare our teens to re-enter the world with a sustainable vision of health and happiness. We empower them to make positive, productive decisions, stay accountable, and find their place in the world. At the same time, we teach families how to support their choices, hold them to a new standard, and understand what they’re going through.
We’re guides on a journey of self-discovery, self-improvement, and self-awareness—for both our teens and our families.
When you come to us, we know you’re in a difficult place.
We offer a natural, powerful, solution ingrained deep in human DNA.
We offer the opportunity to evolve.
