“Working as a counselor was a great way for me to dip my toes into the clinical field. When I realized the clinician route was no longer the path I wanted to take, I completed a certificate program in marketing and joined our Outreach team. “Evolve often shares the slogan "DBT is in our DNA", and I could not agree more. I started with Evolve as I was applying to graduate school and I’ve stayed with the company because of our shared deep desire to continuously improve our clinical work. Alyson Orcena, our now Executive Clinical Director, has been a large part of my DBT journey. She has provided mentorship and shown me how to be an advocate for our clients and our staff. As I’ve moved through different roles, I have continued to believe that we support our clients in creating a life worth living. In my current role as the Clinical Program Director for DBT Comprehensive programs, I feel honored to oversee four DBT Therapists as well as DBT Skills Coaches.
