When you call Evolve, you’ll connect with a compassionate Admissions Coordinator who will take the time to understand your teen’s needs, learn about your family’s situation, and answer any questions you may have. They’ll explain our programs and walk you through treatment options and insurance coverage.

During our initial phone call, we ask for your insurance policy details. In most cases, we can easily confirm your level of coverage by the end of the call. Afterward, our dedicated team of insurance specialists will contact your provider to complete a verification of benefits (VOB) to determine whether your policy covers mental health or substance use treatment and exactly what your out-of-pocket costs will be.

Find the Right Path Forward with a Compassionate, Personalized Evaluation

The next step is known as the pre-admissions assessment, and our goal is to identify what level of care your teen needs and ensure Evolve is clinically the best fit. During this hour-long phone assessment, we take time to get to know your teen. We ask for information such as their current symptoms and behaviors, as well as their clinical history. We review any previous treatment and gather relevant records, such as hospital documentation or psychological testing, if available.

Once we confirm we’re a good fit, we’ll help you choose the right location and coordinate an admission date. If we determine that Evolve is not the right fit, our team can provide referrals to a provider that may be a better match. You’ll receive all the documents and resources you need to feel prepared—including consent forms, packing lists, and information about what to expect during treatment.

Welcoming Your Teen and Family with Care

When you arrive, our team will greet you and guide you through a brief intake process, including a belongings check, safety screening, and orientation. Before you say goodbye, we’ll answer any final questions and give you a full tour of the program.
