Adolescence is a time of significant growth, self-discovery, and transformation. During these years, teenagers deal with academic pressures, extracurriculars, work, and navigating both romantic and friend relationships—all while experiencing a whirlwind of emotions due to puberty. At Evolve, we understand the challenges faced by adolescents and commit ourselves to providing our clients with the essential mental health services, support, and guidance they need to begin their path to healing.
Who We Treat:
We cater to teens between the ages of 12-17 who are dealing with mental health issues and/or substance abuse problems. Often, we assist families and adolescents through alcohol addiction treatment and drug addiction treatment, but we also treat dual-diagnosis clients. Our trained and experienced clinicians are equipped to support teenagers grappling with both simultaneously, making us both a drug and alcohol addiction treatment center and a center for teen mental health.
Here are some of the issues we see most often in our adolescent clients:
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Self-harm
- Suicidal ideation and behaviors
- PTSD/trauma
- Bipolar disorder
- Gender dysphoria
- Disordered eating
- Mood dysregulation (difficulty coping with intense emotions, moods that go up and down throughout the day)
- Psychosis
- Behavioral dysregulation (impulsivity, rule-breaking, etc.)
- Obsessive compulsive disorder
- Borderline personality disorder
