Overview

This course provides an overview of Anxiety disorders and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders presentation in children and adolescents. We will discuss in detail an evidence-based effective treatment, Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy. This discussion will include measures used for initial and follow-up assessments, which eventually provides the foundation for building hierarchy with individuals. This course will guide clinicians about introducing effective exposures and how they can help in preventing patient responses secondary to the exposures, which ultimately helps in decreasing anxiety.
