Evolve Danville RTC Clinical Approach

Every teen’s situation is different, so treatment is tailored to their specific needs. Ongoing clinical assessment allows therapists to track progress and adjust care over time, while structured therapy helps teens build emotional regulation, communication skills, and healthier coping strategies. Teens also develop practical skills to stay present, manage intense emotions, cope with distress, and navigate relationships more effectively.

How We Approach Substance Use Treatment

For teens struggling with substance use or addiction, Evolve incorporates SMART Recovery, a science-based approach rooted in CBT. SMART Recovery helps teens build motivation, work through urges and cravings, manage difficult thoughts and emotions, and develop healthier coping skills that support lasting change. When clinically indicated, teens may also receive additional recovery coaching sessions for more individualized support as part of their outpatient care in Danville.
