Evolve Bel Air Outpatient Treatment for Teens
Bel Air, California
Treatment for the Whole Person
Evolve Bel Air / Brentwood offers individualized mental health and substance abuse treatment in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood in the heart of Bel Air. We’re a short shuttle ride from the Getty Museum, and quick access to the 405 puts everything Los Angeles has to offer within easy reach. Our front door faces west, and the sunsets in our little canyon are breathtaking: every evening we take a moment to watch the sun drop behind the sleek marble lines of the museum, framed by the Santa Monica Hills in the distance.
Our teenagers receive therapy in a safe, supportive, secluded setting ideal for healing and recovery. Treatment can be hard work, but we know our teens can learn practical coping skills while learning about themselves, having fun, and building enriching new relationships. We encourage personal growth and lay the foundation for sustainable, lifelong recovery.
Three Levels of Personalized Care
At Evolve Bel Air / Brentwood, we learn everything we can about each of our teens before creating their individualized recovery plan. We find out what they like and what gets them excited, then translate that knowledge into a customized program that serves their specific needs. We apply traditional approaches such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Group DBT, Process Groups, Family Therapy, and Parent Support Groups. We engage our teens further with Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) modes like yoga and meditation, and offer experiential activities including music, art, dance, hiking, and general fitness. We also go on regular social and cultural outings.
Adolescents receive our full spectrum of solution-focused, data-driven, evidence-based, results-oriented therapy at each level of care:
Partial Hospitalization (PHP)
Our partial hospitalization program serves teens who live at home and attend the Evolve full-day treatment program. PHP teens receive five hours of treatment, five days a week.

Intensive Outpatient (IOP)
Our intensive outpatient program serves teens transitioning from PHP (Partial Hospitalization) or those who need more structure than weekly therapy sessions. IOP teens receive three hours of treatment, three to five days a week.

We have the corner suite in a modern, fully renovated, standalone office building with state-of-the-art amenities and beautiful landscaping featuring amazing rose bushes. Our 5000-square foot space looks like a typical office space from the outside, but on the inside, we create an intimate, welcoming atmosphere. We decorate in light, airy, colorful pastels. Animal and nature themed art covers our walls. We have a common room for down-time and games, a school room equipped with computers and printers for school work and therapy assignments, and several private offices for administrative work and private therapy.
