About:
Jackie is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who has been a part of the Evolve team since 2021.
She earned her Master’s in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. Prior to Evolve, Jackie worked in a variety of settings including supportive housing, community mental health, and residential treatment, providing mental health services to children, teens, and adults with a focus in trauma, substance abuse, depression, and anxiety. While Jackie’s therapeutic approach is guided by each client’s needs, she has a combined, trauma-informed, approach of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Harm Reduction.
She hopes to give her clients the confidence and skills they need to lead healthy, happy, and meaningful lives. Adolescence is rooted in change and their capacity to learn useful skills that can last them a lifetime can give them the confidence to be their most authentic and resilient selves.
In addition to that, Jackie also works in our Admissions department as a Senior Admissions Coordinator, helping families navigate some of their most difficult moments and providing access to the most appropriate clinical care for their teen.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, trying new recipes, going on runs, and traveling with her husband.
