Dr. Parmar is a triple board-certified psychiatrist specializing in general, child and adolescent, and forensic psychiatry. At Evolve, his primary clinical focus is providing specialized psychiatric services to help teens navigate and overcome complex mental health challenges. He has extensive clinical experience in supporting youth and families with multifaceted and complex needs.

He earned his medical degree from Gujarat University. He completed his general psychiatry residency at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center and holds a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Highlighting his clinical excellence and leadership, he also served as the Chief Fellow of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.

Before bringing his expertise to the team at Evolve, Dr. Parmar conducted juvenile forensic evaluations for North Texas State Hospital and provided comprehensive clinical evaluations for youth and families at Axial Psychiatric Services. Throughout his career, he has successfully evaluated and navigated complex legal and clinical matters including competency, sanity, and mitigation factors.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Parmar is deeply committed to advancing the field of adolescent mental health. He actively shares his expertise and contributes to the broader medical community as a published researcher, peer reviewer, and educator.
