Ahmad “Jober” Tarin is the Clinical Program Director for Evolve Danville, bringing a deeply compassionate and authentic approach to adolescent mental health. He firmly believes that every young person deserves to feel understood, supported, and empowered, and he uses this philosophy to help teens build emotional resilience and strengthen their relationships. When working with parents, Jober emphasizes collaboration, ensuring that families feel included, guided, and supported throughout the entire healing process.
Jober’s extensive clinical background spans community mental health and high-acuity residential treatment. He began his career as a Senior Peer Counselor with the City of Fremont before stepping into leadership roles as a Clinician, Associate Program Director, and Interim Clinical Director of a 16-bed Mental Health Rehabilitation Center. Through these experiences, he developed a strong foundation in crisis stabilization and multidisciplinary care. In his therapeutic practice, Jober integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Emotion-Focused Therapy to deliver highly effective, culturally responsive care.
As a leader at Evolve Danville, Jober is dedicated to fostering a safe and supportive environment for clients, families, and staff alike. He values strong therapeutic alliances and works tirelessly to build a program culture where adolescents can experience meaningful, lasting growth. Outside of work, Jober loves spending quality time with his family, traveling, gardening, and staying connected with his local community.
