Youth IOP Program – Camarillo, California
Evolve Intensive Outpatient (IOP) after school program supports clients, 12 – 17 years old, who live at home and attend school but need extra support for mental health, addiction and behavioral issues.
Programs for Young People
In Camarillo, we offer specialized treatment to meet the individual needs of our clients. Our programs are led by Evolve’s teams of dedicated, talented, sensitive, and highly trained therapists. We provide a strength-based, solution-focused program and three levels of care:
- Outpatient (OP) — our OP program works for clients transitioning from PHP (Partial Hospitalization) or for those who need more structure than weekly psychotherapy. Clients in our OP program receive support once or twice a week for one to two hours.
- Intensive Outpatient (IOP) — clients in the IOP attend three hours of treatment, three to five days a week.
- Partial Hospitalization (PHP) — our PHP is intended for clients who live at home and are attending the Evolve full-day treatment program. The PHP level of care provides clients six hours of treatment, five days a week.
Located in the city of Camarillo, our Evolve Treatment Day Programs are well-accommodated, safe, and supportive.
Our Levels of Care
At each level of care, clients receive individual and family therapy, as well as psychoeducational groups including dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and 12-step supports. We engage our clients by offering experiential groups such as art, psychodrama, guided meditation, movement, and yoga therapies. We also offer support groups for parents.
Located adjacent to the Ojai Valley Community Hospital and directly across the street from Nordoff High School, we ensure an atmosphere of warmth and security, trust and kindness. We provide a healthy, rigorous environment in which sensitive issues can be explored.
While treatment can be hard work, we also know that our clients can learn new coping and life skills while having fun and building new relationships. Through these programs, we encourage our clients toward healing, growth, and lifelong recovery.
