Evolve Treatment Centers is looking for a qualified and enthusiastic MFT/MSW Associate to join our team and grow with us! We provide comprehensive treatment to adolescents struggling with addiction and mental health issues. This full-time Associate position is located at our West Los Angeles outpatient facility in the Bel Air/Brentwood area.

Our ideal candidate is passionate about working with teens and their families. S/he has strong communication, time management, organizational skills, and works well collaboratively with others.

The duties of an Associate would primarily be milieu management, enforcing program rules, and facilitating psycho-education groups (i.e.: DBT and CBT groups, process groups, coping skills, relapse prevention, etc.)

Primary Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, the Associate will maintain a small caseload of clients and will conduct an average of 7-9 individual and family sessions/week
  • Run/facilitate an average of 3-4 therapy groups per week, including some experiential, process and/or DBT groups
  • Along with the guidance of the Program Director, create group material that is appropriate and stimulating for clients
  • Support clients as they work independently on academic tasks
  • Take client’s on off-site outings as directed by the Program Director
  • Complete all necessary documentation on time in EMR
  • Develop and maintain weekly/monthly treatment plans
  • Attend weekly Treatment Team meetings and present cases to clinical team

Additional Duties include:

  • The duties of an Associate would primarily be milieu management, enforcing program rules, and facilitating psycho-education groups (i.e.: DBT and CBT groups, process groups, coping skills, relapse prevention, etc.)
  • Participate in trainings as directed by the Program Director
  • Complete Biopsychosocial assessments upon client’s admission to program
  • Coordinate after-care with parents and Discharge Coordinator

Mandatory Qualifications and Preferred Skills:

  • Must be registered as an AMFT/ACSW with the California Board of Behavior Science
  • Experience with DBT and/or a willingness to learn
  • Must be punctual, possess the ability to take initiative, and is a reliable team player
  • Must have a respectful and professional demeanor
  • Must demonstrate appropriate boundaries with clients
  • Must be able to pass a Live Scan criminal background check
  • Past work with adolescents is a plus

Information for Applicant:

  • Full-time hours are: 11:00am-7:00pm Monday-Thursday and Fridays 10:00am-4:00pm
  • Position includes on-site weekly clinical supervision towards licensure
